We believe a pub should be the heart of the community and thatβs what we strive to be for our residents, friends and visitors. Join us for a meal in our dining room, a pint at the bar or a snack in our garden - we have something for everyone.
Well behaved four legged friends are welcome in our Garden, on our Terrace and in the Bar. Please ensure they are under control at all times and remain on a lead. Please note that dogs are not permitted in our Dining Room.

Summer Roasts are Back
Sundays just got sunnier. Weβve reimagined the classic roast for the warmer months think succulent roast meats served with a Mediterranean twist: Patatas Bravas, ProvenΓ§al vegetables, aioli, and mixed leaves.
Prefer the traditional trimmings? Just ask weβve got those too.
Join us this Sunday in the garden or the tipi and discover a new way to do roast.
Our Food
Chef Robin Freeman and his team have curated a menu celebrating the season. Each dish is built around an ingredient embellished with subtle touches to delight our diners. Weβre working with select specialist suppliers at the top of their game to ensure only the best ingredients find a place on the menu. All menus are sample menus as our creative kitchen change dishes faster than the seasons. During Summer we lighten up our Sunday roast with alternative sides.

Our Drink
The bar programme is at the heart of βLittle and Large Pubsβ. βThe Talbotβ is no exception, ensuring that there is something for everyone. Being a free house gives us freedom to work with all the local breweries, showcasing some of the best craft beers and ales available in the South East London. We are currently pouring Villages, Brockley Brewery, Two Tribes & Gypsy Hill beers to name a few. Our cocktail list consists of classics and change seasonally. Donβt forget to try our legendary frozen margaritas.
